Subject: Implementation of Electronic Signing (ES) – Testing Phase
This memo serves to inform all CCO members that our firm will be implementing
Electronic Signing (ES) and Digital Signing (DS) facilities as part of our digital transformation initiative. The implementation will be carried out in stages as outlined below.
1. Platform Information
We will be using SigningCloud, a leading electronic-signature platform in Malaysia.
All signatures executed via SigningCloud comply with the Digital Signature Act 1997 (DSA) and are
recognised under the Electronic Commerce Act 2006 (ECA).
2. Implementation Stages
- Stage 1 (1/12/25 – 31/12/25): Internal testing of SigningCloud.
- Stage 2 (1/1/26 – 31/1/26): ES rollout to selected Company Secretary clients.
- Stage 3 (From 1/2/26): ES rollout to all Company Secretary clients except for documents requiring manual signatures.
- Stage 4 (TBA): ES implementation for other client categories.
3. Cooperation Required
All CCO members are required to provide full cooperation to ensure a smooth and
successful implementation. Relevant training and briefings will be provided when necessary.
